Jeffrey L. Huntsman, Sr.

Jeffrey Louis Huntsman, age 58, 14018 N. Washington Street, Macy, Indiana 46951 (Gilead), died on September 8, 2015 at 5:55 p.m. at his daughter’s residence in Sheridan, Indiana.

He was born on January 23, 1957 in Kokomo, Indiana to Louis M. Huntsman and Bertha Viola (King) Huntsman.  He had lived in Gilead, Indiana since 2003 coming from Kokomo, Indiana.

Jeffrey acquired his GED and several years of college.  He was a laborer and worked in construction.  He belonged to local #274 of Kokomo.  He was known for his pigeons. 

Jeffrey's first wife was Juanita Miller who died September 19, 1987 and then married Tina Ryan who died June 3, 2009.

Surviving Jeffrey are (3) sons Jeffrey Huntsman, Jr. (fiancé Amanda Foster) of Gilead; Michael Cline of Oceanside, CA; Job Huntsman of Gilead. (3) daughters: Jamie (spouse Shane) Coulter of Sheridan; Justina Huntsman of Gilead; Joannie (spouse Justin) Griffith of Kokomo. (2) brothers: Scott (spouse Dotty) Huntsman of Kokomo; Luke (spouse Beth) Stone of Florida. (3) sisters: Kellie Huntsman (companion Kevin Chapel) of Miami; Andrea Huntsman of Kokomo; Beth Riggle of Galveston. Stepfather: Tom Stone of Kokomo. Nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Jeffrey in death are his parents, (2) wives, son: Joshua Huntsman, daughter: Japril Huntsman, brother; Mark Huntsman, sister: Cynthia Huntsman, and granddaughter: Jade Huntsman.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the Old Crossroad Baptist Church, 2890 E. Macy Gilead Road, Macy, Indiana 46951.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, after visitation at 12:00 noon at the church officiated by Pastor Thad Stewart of the Old Crossroad Baptist Church.  Burial will be in the Gilead Cemetery, Gilead, Indiana.
