George E. Honeycutt

George Elmon Honeycutt, Jr., age 69, Whippoorwill Road, Nippa, Kentucky, died on April 2, 2015 at 6:05 p.m. at his residence following a sudden illness.

He was born on December 27, 1945 in Hagerhill, Kentucky to George Elmon Honeycutt, Sr. and Fannie (Hyden) Honeycutt.  He lived in Johnson County, Kentucky for the last 13 years, coming from LaFontaine, Indiana and Wabash County where he had lived for nearly 40 years.

George married Nadene Jackson on April 1, 1994 in Paintsville, Kentucky. He worked for Celotex Corporation in Largo, Indiana for over 30 years retiring in 2001.

Surviving George is his wife: Nadene of Nippa, Kentucky; (3) sons: Gary D. Honeycutt (spouse Angie) of Roann, Indiana, Rick Osborne of Peru, Indiana and George E. Honeycutt, III of Colorado; (1) sister: Shelby Jean (spouse Emil) Harris of Lagro, Indiana

Preceding George were his parents and sister, Sue Bowling

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Earl-Love Funeral Home, 811 E. Rochester Street, Akron, Indiana.  Funeral services will follow the visitation at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Frank Whitaker.
