Constance Joan McFarland

Constance Joan McFarland died on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 12:26 a.m. at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Connie was born on July 31, 1945 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Herman and Francis (Murphy) Haffner.  She graduated from Fort Wayne Catholic School in 1963.  Connie was a resident of Fort Wayne for 68 years and lived in North Manchester for 8 years.

On November 10, 1983 she married Jeff McFarland in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Connie worked for Herman Haffner Dermatology and Fort Wayne Dermatology.

Connie was a #1 fan of Elvis Presley and loved family trips to the Bahamas.

Surviving Connie is her husband: Jeff McFarland of Fort Wayne, IN; (2) daughters: Jackie Ramsey, Julie (spouse Rob) Pettibone; (1) son: Darren (spouse Brandi) McFarland, all of Fort Wayne, IN; (2) brothers: Rick Haffner of Cupertino, CA; Herman (spouse Kitty) Haffner of Crawfordsville, IN; (5) grandchildren: Ryan Ramsey (fiancée Dani Clark), Shae Pettibone, Gwen Pettibone, Jennifer McFarland, Dominic McFarland, all of Fort Wayne, IN

Preceding Connie in death are her parents, (1) sister: Patty Barber; (2) half-brothers: George and Arlen Haffner; (1) daughter: Jennifer Druley Tholt; (1) son-in-law: Daniel Ramsey

There will be a Celebration of Life open house on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. at Sonrise Church, 10125 Illinois Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana  46804.  Food and drinks will be provided.
