Christy Ann Floyd

Christy Ann Floyd, age 33 died on February 29, 2024 at 4:37 p.m. at Parkview Hospital Randallia in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She was born on October 19, 1990 in Warsaw, Indiana to Bruce D. and Theresa M. Floyd.  She graduated from Tippecanoe Valley High School in 2009.  Christy has lived all of her life in rural Akron, Indiana.

Christy enjoyed being a member of the Fulton County 4-H Club and was a 10 year member.  She loved all kinds of animals especially dogs and puppies.

She had a big heart and loved everyone and everything.  She enjoyed putting puzzles together and baby dolls.

Surviving Christy are her parents: Bruce and Theresa Floyd of Akron; (2) sisters: Samantha Hoff (fiancé Dusty Kimbel) and Aubrey Collins; grandparents: George and Ruth Hoff; nephew: Ian Randell; niece: Paige Kimbel and many, many aunts and cousins; maternal aunts: Crystal Long, Anita and Gary Webb, Tonya Long, Nena Marie; cousins: Christina Nard and children; Gary Douglas Webb and children; several cousins.

Preceding Christy in death is her grandfather: Bruce D. Floyd Sr.;  grandmother: Shirley Floyd; uncles: Rodney and Paul Hoff; brother: Cody D. Floyd.

The memorial visitation will be Saturday, March 9, 2024 starting at 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Earl-Love Funeral Home with the memorial service following, officiated by Chaplain Jon Keller. Burial will be in the Akron IOOF Cemetery, Akron, Indiana at a later date.
