Charles Edward Tuley, age 59, 6061 E. 375 S., Rochester, passed away at 9:20 a.m. Friday, March 30, 2012 at his residence.
He was born on Dec. 25, 1952 in Rochester to Theodore and Mary Josephine (Mutchler) Tuley. He lived all of his life in the Rochester area and Fulton County.
He graduated from Akron High School in 1972 and earned an associate degree from Lincoln Tech. On Dec. 14, 1973, at Gilead United Methodist Church, he married Janet Sue Doolittle. He worked for a farmer and was an accomplished woodworker, following in his father’s footsteps. He was a member of the Deedsville United Methodist Church and a member of ME-TO-CIN-YAH Longrifles of Central Indiana. He enjoyed farming, living history events, and being a grandpa.
Survivors include his wife; daughter, Barbara “Barbie” (spouse Jake) Kieninger, of Rochester; son, Theodore “Ted” (spouse Cassia) Tuley, of Rochester; two grandchildren whom he adored, Edward “Eddie” and Samantha “Sammie” Tuley, of Rochester; brother, Kenneth (spouse Sandy) Linden, of Washington; and sister, Alice Lou Ewing, of Big Springs, Texas.
After cremation, there will be a memorial service and burial at Mt. Zion Cemetery at a later date.
