Buddy "Bud" J. Tullis, age 86, rural Tippecanoe, Indiana died on Sunday, April 5, 2026 in his residence at 9:14 a.m.
He was born on December 28, 1939 in Kosciusko, Indiana to Cyrus Clesta "Short" Tullis and Opal (Meredith) Tullis. He graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1957. He married Barbara Ann Calvert on October 7, 1966 at the Beaver Dam United Methodist Church. Buddy lived approximately 31 years in the Tippecanoe area.
Among many jobs that he had in his career; he was the owner of Chamberlin’s Bar & Grill for 12 years; he worked at the Rochester Foundry in maintenance (Tool Crib) where he retired. Buddy belonged to the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Rochester, Indiana. He also was the manager of the American Legion in Rochester, Indiana and belonged to the National Rifle Association.
Surviving Buddy are (5) daughters: Sherri (spouse Rodney) Eiler of Gas City, IN; Cheryl (spouse Jim) Knee of Kalamazoo, MI; Brenda Gorr of Bourbon, IN; Lisa (spouse Lachelle) Tullis of Warsaw, IN; Ginger (spouse Peter) Gosselin of Kenosha, WI; (10) grandchildren and (13) great-grandchildren.
Preceding Buddy in death are his parents, his wife (11-08-2021), (2) daughters: Beth and Susan Tullis, brother Si Tullis, (3) sisters: Zelma McCloughan and two younger sisters.
There will not be any services as per Buddy's wishes. The family will grieve privately.
