Annice Severns, age 86, died on November 25, 2018 at her residence at 8:42 a.m.
She was born on April 3, 1932 to Guy and Cora (Smith) Heishman in Reynolds, Indiana. She attended Mead High School, Metea, Indiana.
Annice married Dale Onis Severns in 1949 in Rochester, Indiana. After living in Leiters Ford, Indiana, they moved to Akron, Indiana where she resided for 50 years. Early on, she was a house keeper for Howard Utter.
She attended the Athens Community Church, Athens, Indiana. Annice loved animals and flowers. She had owned dogs and gave special attention to the stray cats in the town of Akron. Her favorite colors were pink and purple.
Surviving Annice is (1) son: Roger Dale Severns (spouse Barbara) of Akron; (2) daughters: Debra Ann Leap (spouse John) of Rochester; Annette Groninger (spouse Greg) of Silver Lake; (1) sister-in-law: Phoebe Lykowski of South Bend; 7 grandchildren: Shawn, Cami, Chad, Summer, Gregory, Season, Graham and 13 great-grandchildren and one on the way.
Preceding Annice in death are her parents, husband Dale on September 20, 2001 and 10 brothers and sisters.
Visitation is at the Athens Community Church, Athens, Indiana on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by the Memorial Service officiated by Pastor Wanda Carter.
